Under A Million Stars

The Quiver Tree Forest near Keetmanshoop in Namibia is a beautiful location! Especially during the starry night. This crazy looking trees are actually no trees but an aloe plant. They are known as "quiver tree" (Afrikaans: kokerboom) because bushmen traditionally used its branches to make quivers.
This panorama shows our milky way galaxy inclusive the rare zodiacal light over this national monument.
