The Dolomites, one of the most fascinating places in the world for lovers of mountain and landscape photography, offer unique conditions at any time of year. In autumn, the rugged landscape is characterized by beautiful autumn colors. Unique in the world!
Perfect conditions for capturing unique moments in breathtaking locations such as the Three Peaks, the Cinque Torri and the lakes of Antorno and Braies under the guidance of internationally renowned astrophotographers/landscape photographers. Giulio Cobianchi and Stefan Liebermann Capture.
The trip is aimed at all photography enthusiasts and lovers of mountain landscapes. The difficulty of the trip is easy to moderate and a sufficient level of fitness is required. This is a trip with a focus on photography. You will visit and photograph the most beautiful places in the Dolomites in the fall. During the trip you will learn about landscape photography, from the theory of image capture and planning to post-processing. We start with the theoretical and technical basics and apply them in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We evaluate the images together and then get to know the post-processing workflows using the existing photos. The aim of the trip is to return home with fascinating landscape photographs. There is no guarantee of good weather.

Day 1
Meeting point at Venice Airport (Marco Polo Airport) at 11 a.m.

At Lake Misurina (South Tyrol) around 2 pm.
After the presentation and an introduction to what we will experience during the week, we set off to reach our first hotel near Tre Cime di Lavaredo in about 3 hours.
After checking in, we will relax and prepare our things for the first sunset at Lake Antorno.
Sunset location: Lake Antorno.
After the sunset photo session, we go to a restaurant.
Day 2
We will spend our first sunrise at a magical lake in the mountains, Lake Landro.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, we pack our rucksacks and take our minibus to the parking lot of the Auronzo hut, from where we explore the entire Three Peaks of Lavaredo on foot.
The hike takes about 4 hours, but you won't get bored, the views are fantastic and we will stop several times to take beautiful photos. We will see and photograph the Three Peaks of Lavaredo from every conceivable angle, including caves, trenches and beautiful autumn colors.

After the sunset photo session, we reach the minibus and drive to dinner.
Day 3
The next day we take super jeeps (included in the price) to a breathtaking lake where the colors of autumn are at their most beautiful, Lake Federa.
After breakfast at the hotel, we pack our things and set off at 11 a.m. to reach our new hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
During the afternoon we will have our first photo editing session.
Sunrise location: Lake Federa.
Sunset location: At the Giau Pass between orange-colored trees and mountain peaks.
After sunset we go back to dinner and then to the hotel.
Day 4
We will spend the sunrise at Lake Braies, probably the most famous and most beautiful lake in the Dolomites.

Around 4 p.m. we drive with our van to the Cinque Torri hut, where we park and reach the Cinque Torri in 20 minutes on foot for the sunset.

After sunset, we will have dinner in a restaurant in the Cortina d'Ampezzo area.
Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to the region around Santa Maddalena.
During the day we stop to take photos of the Alpe di Siusi in the background (20 minutes on foot).
In the afternoon we will reach one of the most beautiful valleys in the Dolomites, the Val di Funes, where we will enjoy the sunset (30 minutes on foot).

Day 6
Our last sunrise takes place at the Passo delle Erbe before the Sass de Putia, a wonderful place full of photographic compositions.
After breakfast, we pack our bags to reach our new hotel in an incredible location, the Alpe di Siusi.

Day 7
After a hearty breakfast, our adventure comes to an end.
We drive by van to Lake Misurina (Dolomites) and to the airport in Venice (Marco Polo Airport).

The first two nights: Hotel near Tre Cime di Lavaredo

-On the second day, we have a hike of about 4 hours (in total) to reach the planned points around the Three Peaks and return to our van (we will stop to buy some sandwiches, snacks and drinks before we leave).
-On the third day, we don't hike, but drive to Lake Federa at dawn in the super jeeps and reach the Giau Pass by van, where we have a sunset photo session.
-On the fourth day we have to walk 20 minutes to get the best view of the Cinque Torri, 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back.
-On the fifth day, we have to walk 20 minutes to the church of St. Jakob and 20 minutes back to the bus. The same applies to the sunset photo session in Val di Funes, 20/30 minutes there and 20/30 minutes back.
-We don't have to hike on the last day.
-On the remaining days we will have dinner in restaurants (not included in the price) that we will reserve for the group.
- Some snacks (lunch) can be packed to optimize the photographic program.
- The goal of the trip is to improve photography skills and take beautiful landscape photos, but there will also be relaxation.
- During the photo tour we will try to organize sessions on theory, practice and photographic technique. Of course, if the weather is always photographically perfect, we prefer photography and send videos with editing after the tour
In order to offer the best supervision, the maximum number of participants has been limited to 8 people. The minimum number of participants for the tour is 5.
The supervisors are the internationally award-winning landscape photographers Giulio Cobianchi and Stefan Liebermann.
Participation is possible with English, German or Italian language skills.

Photographic equipment
The recommended photographic equipment consists of a digital SLR or system camera with at least 2 lenses, a wide-angle lens (range: 14-30mm) and a medium telephoto lens (range: 24-100mm) as well as a tripod.
Optional: Filter (ND, Pol), laptop
Clothing
In October, temperatures at this altitude are between 10-15 °C during the day and around 0 °C at night. It is best to choose your clothing so that you can add or remove individual layers depending on the weather conditions. For example: thermal underwear, wool or polar fleece mid-layer, a jacket with a windproof and waterproof shell that also covers the legs. Spare socks and hiking boots are required.

The total price of the trip is EUR 2790 .
To book the trip, a deposit of EUR 700 is required and the balance of EUR 2090 must be paid up to 30 days before the start of the trip.
The single room supplement is EUR 800.
If a participant decides to cancel their reservation, they can do so at any time by communicating it as soon as possible through the official email address of one of the two organizers. However, you should bear in mind that the cancellation by a participant will lead to administrative difficulties in the bookings, as well as the risk of not reaching the minimum number of participants for the trip (and consequently the need to look for a new person). For this reason:
- If the cancellation is submitted MORE than 60 days (prior to departure), you can get a refund of the booking fee.
- If the cancellation is submitted LESS than 60 days prior to departure, it is NOT possible to receive a refund of the booking fee.
*Unless the customer who wants to cancel their booking brings another person who is willing to take their place by paying the total amount of the trip themselves.
The entire amount paid (deposit or full fee) will be fully refunded in case of cancellation of the event.
